Candidate Profile:

 

•  University degree in electronic, communication engineering or similar with focus on power electronics and firmware programming and/or communication
•  Knowledge of LED Driver converters and LED control techniques
•  Hardware Design (Eagle, Altium Designer)
•  Good experience in microcontroller firmware programming in C
•  Knowledge of Open Source HW (e.g. Arduino, Rapsberry Pi) and Open Source SW (e.g. Linux, Java, OpenHAB)
•  Basic knowledge of Internet of Things operating systems (RTOS, Contiki) and Wireless Sensor Networks (6LowPAN, BT smart) will be an advantage
•  Background of ARM Cortex-M microcontroller architectures will be an advantage
•  Willingness to travel
•  Excellent English communication and willingness to learn German

For our engineer team we are looking for an R&D Electronic Engineer for IoT Smart Home and Light applications. You will work in innovative projects in cooperation with other industrial partners and KMUs.

Job Description:

•  Development of electronic and control circuits for smart lighting and smart home applications
•  Development of smart LED systems and IoT sensor nodes
•  Support of development of an IoT smart gateway
•  Overall System Integration (LED Systems, nodes, gateway and user HMI)
•  Full development cycle (from Concept to functional prototype)
•  Evaluation and documentation of results
